Santa Clara cleans up after Super Bowl 50
Super Bowl 50 cleanup and a big sale are going on today at Levi's Stadium.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Super Bowl 50 cleanup and a big sale are going on today at Levi's Stadium.



The game is over, making Super Bowl 50 gear a little less valuable. Fans today get 50 percent off at the NFL shop at the Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium. Carolina Panthers gear may be a tough sell today, but Broncos fans are still celebrating.

"The experience was awesome and it couldn't have gone any better than it did," said Mark Elder, Broncos fan.



It was a banner day in Santa Clara yesterday, but these Super Bowl 50 banners must come down, along with everything else put up in preparation for the big game.

There is no word on an exact timeline for the dismantling, but a security guard said he will be working until at least February 20, keeping an eye on everyone's stuff. People who live and work in the area were happy with the experience, but also glad to see it come to an end.



"It was an honor having the Super Bowl here," said Jennifer Ramos, Santa Clara worker.

"A lot of people staying up late making a lot of noise. I have a lot of friends who are like, okay, it's cool. But we got to work tomorrow," said Amanda Abruzzini, Santa Clara worker.



A lot of liquor reps hitting grocery stores today, including a Santa Clara Safeway. Down go the Super Bowl 50 displays, up go the Valentine's Day displays.



"So far like just being around the liquor shelves everything is gone. Like, you could tell they went through a lot of liquor," said Haley Damele, Southern Wine and Spirits.
