Warriors' Klay Thompson: 'We'll be back'
The Golden State Warriors season ended Sunday night not the way they or fans hoped, so the team said they'll use the summer to improve.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The Golden State Warriors season ended Sunday night not the way they or the fans had hoped. However, they said they'll use the summer to improve.

The Warriors became the first team in NBA history to blow a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. "It was a tough feeling, it was a rough night," Warriors star Steph Curry said.

Curry said he is reliving Sunday night's loss to the Cavs over and over again. "There were three or four possessions where I personally settled looking for a big three when that's not what the possession called for. When I told Riley we didn't win, she looked at me and said: 'I know it's okay."'

The Warriors said they'll use the loss to fuel their fight for a victory next year. "It doesn't start next season, it's starts now, you know and trying to get better each and every day, improving on some of the things I wasn't as good at and getting better at the things I was good at," Warriors' Draymond Green said.

When Warriors' Klay Thompson was asked how he get beyond the disappointment, he said: "It's hard for me to answer right now, I don't have a good answer for that right now to be honest," he said.

Thompson acknowledged the fans are hurting too. "We're sorry it didn't go the way we wanted it to, but it's not the last time we'll be on this stage, on this platform, we'll be back," he said.
