SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The coroner has identified the kayaker found dead in the San Francisco Bay from this weekend as 37-year-old Filip Anderson of Greenbrae.

Two kayaking companions reported Anderson missing over the weekend. His body was found early Sunday morning.

The Coast Guard says the body of Mr. Anderson was found around 3 a.m. on Sunday, just south of the San Mateo Bridge.

He was reported missing just before 6 p.m. on Saturday. Rescuers searched from Candlestick Point all the way down to the San Mateo Bridge in Foster City.
