SFPD Negotiations continue to keep man from jumping from building

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There may be detours in San Francisco's Tenderloin District because of man threatening to jump from a fire escape on Eddy Street.

Police have closed off parts of Eddy and Taylor Streets.

The man climbed onto fire escape late Thursday night.

Officers are trying to get him to come down safely. They fear he may be drunk or high on drugs.
