MARIN COUNTY, Calif. -- Campers have been evacuated and roads are closed tonight due to a wildfire that's burned roughly five acres in the unincorporated Dillon Beach area of Marin County, according to deputies with the sheriff's office.

The Marin County Sheriff's Office announced via Twitter at 8:53 p.m. that campers were being evacuated to the beach due to a wildland fire near Dillon Beach Resort.

The fire is near Bay Drive, and firefighters are establishing a line. Deputies say they're blocking roads into the area and that access to Dillon Beach is closed while firefighters are working nearby.

Additional resources have been called in from Sonoma County and Petaluma, according to sheriff's deputies.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
