OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The Ghost Ship fire took the lives of 36 people in Oakland last year, and two men, Max Harris and Derick Almena have been charged with 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter in their deaths.

Preliminary hearings are proving to be emotionally charged as witnesses testify about the tragedy.
