3.1 magnitude earthquake rattles the Peninsula

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- A 3.1 earthquake shook the Emerald Hills area of Redwood City at 3:44 a.m. It was centered along Farm Hill Boulevard, northeast of Canada College.

So far there are no reports of damage or injuries. People who felt it said it felt like an 'intense jolt' -- rather than a rolling quake.

Redwood City fire reports firefighters on two engines also reported feeling the quake there has been no damage to their stations.
