Elderly driver crashes into Oakland 7-Eleven

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- No injuries were reported after an elderly driver crashed into an Oakland 7-Eleven on Wednesday.

The incident was reported at 11:57 a.m. at 4193 Piedmont Ave. near the Ridgeway Avenue intersection.

The store's owner says that no one was inside when it happened.

Emergency crews say the driver seemed disoriented, but otherwise unharmed. She was taken to a local hospital.

Police are investigating what caused the crash.
