ABC7 News was at the Contemporary Jewish Museum for a sneak peek at the new exhibit on Bill Graham.
The legendary concert promoter built his career in San Francisco. Graham launched stars like Carlos Santana, the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane.
The exhibit includes iconic Fillmore posters, one of Jerry Garcia's guitars and even concert footage.
"He really invented this genre of live rock-and-roll concerts for everybody of every age. Being able to stand up and dance in big communal settings," said Lori Starr of the Contemporary Jewish Museum.
The exhibit also touches on Graham's personal life, from surviving the Holocaust to the Bronze Star he received in the Korean War. The exhibit continues until July 5.
