BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- The "Interview" is out.
After days of will they or won't they, Sony Wednesday released the controversial movie online and on-demand, one day before it hits movie theaters.
This is the first time a major studio is making a film available for home viewing at the same time as it opens in theaters. Starting Christmas Day the controversial film will begin showing on around 300 screens instead of a typical Hollywood release of 3,000 but viewers can also it stream online.
