Stacey Dash takes stage in bizarre Oscars moment
Actress and Fox News commentator Stacey Dash made an appearance at the Oscars to deliver a short, tongue-in-cheek line that left many people scratching their heads.

Actress and Fox News commentator Stacey Dash made an appearance at the Oscars to deliver a short, tongue-in-cheek line that left many people scratching their heads.

Host Chris Rock introduced her as the "director" of the Oscars minority outreach program before she headed out to the stage. Once she appeared, she smiled and said, "I cannot wait to help my people out. Happy Black History Month!" and then just as quickly vanished.

After her appearance on stage, she took to Twitter.

So who is Stacey Dash? She is best known for her role as Dionne Davenport in the hit 1995 movie Clueless and its spin-off television series.

Dash caused quite a stir in January when she spoke about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy on Fox & Friends. She called for the abolishment of Black History Month, BET and the Image Awards, among other things she felt were a "double standard" in black culture.

Not long after her comments aired, BET responded to Dash on Twitter, which resulted in a slew of responses. The actress had a recurring role on the network's show The Game in 2009.
