To celebrate Mother's Day, the staffers at Jimmy Kimmel Live read some of the most amusing correspondences they've had with their moms.

The texts ranged from inadvertently inappropriate to inexplicably long to oversharing personal details.

And then there's the ones who haven't quite mastered the phone yet, like the mom who admitted at the beginning of the text, "I'm using I'm using the microphone on the on the phone so I hope it comes out," and went on to say of her grandson, "Tomorrow I think I should take him early you know I'm just have a free day."

Oh Mom, this is why we love you.
