Goodwill worker finds thousands of dollars in donated purse, finds rightful owner

ASTORIA, Queens -- A worker for Goodwill was looking through donated items when she found a bunch of money.

There was more than $39,000 in a purse donated by the family of a 101-year-old woman who had died.

The Goodwill worker did the right thing, and met with the woman's grateful grandson to tell him about the money.
