One dead in Union City 880 accident

UNION CITY, Calif. -- A fatal accident closed two northbound lanes on 880 in Union City Thursday night near Whipple road.

The accident was reported around 8:40 p.m.
Officials reopened the highway around 10:50 p.m. Thursday night. No further details were immediately available.
