Fatal accident cleared from EB I-580 in San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. -- A fatal rollover accident has been cleared from eastbound I-580 lanes in San Leandro near 164th Avenue.

The crash occurred around 4:20 a.m. on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 near the 164th Avenue off-ramp, CHP officers said.

There were reportedly at least two vehicles involved in the crash, and at least one of the vehicles overturned and caught fire, officers said.
