Female pedestrian killed in hit and run crash in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose police are investigating a deadly hit and run at 10th and Santa Clara Streets.

Officers say it appears the woman was in the crosswalk when a white van hit her just after midnight. The driver took off without stopping.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call San Jose police.
