49ers unveil high price of food at new Levi's Stadium

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- The San Francisco 49ers Friday revealed the concession prices at Levi's Stadium which opens next month.

The offerings include:

  • 16-ounce beer for $10.25 (up half a dollar from the price at Candlestick Park)
  • 18-ounce premium beer for $11
  • Frankfurters for $6.25, up 75 cents
  • Soft drinks for $5.25 (a quarter less than Candlestick, but also three ounces less)
  • Sandwiches and hamburgers for $12
  • $8.50 garlic fries
  • $8 pizza
  • $7 candy
  • $6 nachos
  • $6 bottled water

ABC7 News' media partner, the San Jose Mercury News, calculates the cost of two game tickets, two hot dogs, and a couple of beers at the new stadium will cost $243. It would cost $88.50 at Candlestick.
