Warriors NBA record 73 wins gear goes on sale
With a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors made history Wednesday night beating the NBA record for most wins in a regular season at 73 and their gear is quickly being bought by fans online.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Once the game was over the celebration of a record breaking season began as fans took the party outside Oracle Arena after the Warriors made history by winning 73 games in a regular season Wednesday night.

"It's been a great night, a great game. The players played great. We're having a great might out here, everyone is celebrating. This is history right here boys. This is history," one fan said.

The next step for the Warriors is winning a championship.

ROUND 1: The Warriors will face the Houston Rockets in Game 1 on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. -- on ABC7

Warriors.com is selling tickets for the first round series against the Rockets, starting at $200 each.

However, if you can't afford to go to the game, you can still get some gear. The 73 Wins t-shirt sold out Wednesday night at Oracle Arena.

But don't worry, more are being sold by sports merchandise company Fanatics.

The company jumped into action right away, producing t-shirts celebrating the record-breaking season.

"They know, there's been 1,400 different teams that have played an NBA season. None of them have gone 73-9. People want to remember that, I certainly do. There's a lot of folks out there saying: 'I got to remember this a long time and a t-shirts kind of a nice way to show that,"' Fanatics Chief Marketing Officer Chris Orton said.

And you know we can't look too far ahead. Tickets for the NBA finals are also on sale on Warriors.com, with the cheapest just under a $1,000 each.
