Several media outlets report Google's parent company Alphabet fired engineer James Damore Monday.

ABC7 News reported over the weekend that Damore wrote an internal 10-page memo sent to employees of the Mountain View-based company, arguing that biological differences play a role in the shortage of women in tech and leadership positions.

Damore told Bloomberg that he has been fired for perpetuating gender stereotypes.
