The only surviving member of the Ng family is the father, Aaron, who works at SFO.

His family and the family of Daly City resident Wei Xiong Li were on a vacation in LA when their minivan got in a crash on I-5 on Tuesday.

The men were inspecting the damage when the minivan was rear-ended by a semi and burst into flames.

Li's wife and two children were killed as well.

He and Ng were badly burned trying to rescue their families.
