SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Mosquitoes collected from three South Bay cities have tested positive for West Nile virus.
The tests results have prompted additional mosquito fogging treatments to be planned for parts of Campbell, Cupertino and San Jose next week.
If weather permits, the ground fogging operations will happen next Tuesday and Thursday nights. Each fogging is expected to last for several hours.
West Nile is transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito.
