SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- If you start to hear a piano while hiking through some Bay Area parks this Labor Day weekend, you're not losing your mind.

Santa Clara County has placed a piano in four separate parks for the public to enjoy. The county is partnering with Sunset Piano -- a project to test how music in public settings affects our mood and interactions with others.

Park staff set up the instruments in Vasona, Sanborn, Alviso Marina and Ed Levin parks. The pianos will be in the parks through September.
