Possible measles exposure at 2 Berkeley libraries

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- People at two libraries in Berkeley last week may have been exposed to the measles.

An adult who may have had the contagious virus visited the west branch library on Feb. 27 and 28 and the Central Branch Library on the 27.

The risk for exposure is not strong; however, health officials say anyone who visited the libraries on those dates should monitor themselves for symptoms for the next two weeks.

Symptoms include a fever and facial rash. There are 132 measles cases statewide.
