Heating safety tips to help avoid fires

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There's something about the winter months and curling up with a book by the fireplace. But did you know that heating equipment is one of the leading causes of home fire deaths?

Here are some tips from the San Francisco Fire Department for preventing most heating fires from happening.
