All lanes reopened on eastbound Hwy 37 in Sonoma Co. after fire
High winds swept up a controlled burn that turned into a 15-acre grassfire along Highway 37 Thursday near Sears Point. All lanes were reopened at around 3 pm.

SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- High winds swept up a controlled burn that turned into a 15-acre grassfire along Highway 37 Thursday near Sears Point.

The CHP shut down all lanes of Highway 37 at around 1:50 pm while crews worked to contain the fire and released a traffic advisory due to the heavy smoke in the area.

All lanes were reopened at around 3 pm.
