Floating classroom arrives in San Francisco from Hawaii

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Who needs GPS when you have nature to guide your course?

ABC7 News was at San Francisco's Aquatic Park for the arrival of Hikianalia, a floating classroom.

The canoe and its crew sailed from Hawaii, navigating their way by observing the sun, stars, winds and birds.

The goal is to highlight the relationship between humanity and nature.
