Baby Giant anteater makes debut

BROOKFIELD, Ill. (KGO) -- A baby Giant anteater was recently born at the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois.

The Giant anteater, which is not so giant yet, is the second Giant anteater born at the zoo.

Her sister was born in 2015 and was moved to the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Right now, Giant anteaters are considered a vulnerable species in their native habitats of Honduras, Brazil and northern Argentina.
