Bay Area LIFE: La-Z-Boy teams up ABC7, Toys for Tots

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- It is the season of giving and Toys for Tots seeks to help less fortunate children throughout the United States receive the joy of Christmas. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year and distribute them as Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in the community where the campaign is conducted. This past year, the program collected and distributed 18 million toys to 7 million children, with community action spanning 792 communities covering all 50 States, the District of Colombia, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Toys for Tots will continue to spread a message of hope to children and unite communities for years to come.
