More than 1,500 homes and businesses have been destroyed by raging wildfires in Sonoma and Napa counties and it has left countless lives in ruins.

NAPA, Calif. (KGO) -- More than 1,500 homes and businesses have been destroyed by raging wildfires in Sonoma and Napa counties.

Many people who fled the fires in the middle of the night were able to return on Monday.
