KNOW AND TELL: Inflatable bags help flip truck upright in Hayward

HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) -- Timelapse video shows orange inflatable bags flipping a truck back up onto its four wheels after a rollover during a crash on NB I-880 in Hayward.

This process shaved off two to four hours of cleanup time, according to the tow company.

They say this technology has been used in Europe but are new to the Bay Area. One CHP officer said he'd never seen it before.
