3.5 preliminary magnitude earthquake strikes Lake County

HIDDEN VALLEY, Calif. (KGO) -- A 3.5 preliminary magnitude earthquake struck about seven miles east of Hidden Valley Lake, California.

The quake struck at 7:16 a.m. according to the U.S.G.S.

The temblor is being described as a brief jolt.

There are no reports of injuries or damage.
