Elevator may have caused loud boom in San Francsico near Golden Gate Park

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco Fire Department is investigating the cause of a loud boom that was heard near Golden Gate Park. The noise was first reported around 5:30 a.m. near Fell and Shrader streets.

A possible cause is the fire department reported there was an overheated elevator motor this morning on 2070 Fell Street. There is no structural damage and injuries. Firefighters have declared the situation under control.
