San Francisco police arrest two after armed robbery
San Francisco police have arrested two suspects after an armed robbery in the Mission District.

SAN FRANCISCO -- A robbery suspect suffered a possibly self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg early this morning in San Francisco's Mission District, police said.



At about 3 a.m., police learned of an armed robbery happening near Bartlett and 23rd streets and responded to the scene.



Both suspects were arrested and the suspect who suffered the gunshot wound was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The names of the suspects were not immediately being released by police.



The 40-year-old male victim was robbed of his wallet, cellphone and watch but was uninjured, police said.



Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
