Motorcyclist killed in Mountain View crash involving Google bus
Officials say a fatal collision in Mountain View has prompted some traffic issues near Shoreline Boulevard and Plymouth Street Wednesday evening.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- A male motorcyclist died in a collision at a Mountain View intersection this evening, according to officials with the Mountain View Police Department.

Wednesday evening, yellow tape blocked off the intersection of North Shoreline Boulevard and Plymouth Street

"I didn't know if he was alive or really what had happened. I immediately called 911, told them what I had seen," said witness Geovon Guzman.

Guzman was turning left on Plymouth Street behind this white bus, when she realized a traffic accident happened. "People started swarming over to him to try to assist try to move him, when they moved him, it looked as if it was fatal."

Mountain View police confirm a male motorcyclist died in the crash with a white bus at the Shoreline and Plymouth intersection. Traffic investigators closed the street to traffic as they gathered information.

"When I got out of my car , it was piece maybe like the fender it was all over the road," Guzman added.

The license plate of the bus is registered to the commuter bus company. The bus is unmarked but the crash happened near the Google campus, police haven't said if the bus had passengers on board.

A Google spokeswoman issued a statement saying "we are saddened to learn of this tragic incident our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy."
