NASA releases new images of galaxy

NASA has released new animated images showing a far off galaxy. The images were captured by its Gamma-ray telescope.

The distant galaxy is powered by monster black holes. A black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can't get out.

Scientists say this galaxy's black hole is a million or more times the size of the mass of the sun.

NASA says the light left that part of the galaxy over 11 billion years ago.
