SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry is going to be immortalized in wax. Madame Tussauds announced the Splash Brother will be the next basketball player to become a wax figure at the museum in San Francisco.

Curry spent hours with artists who took more than 250 measurements to match everything from hair and eye color to hand prints.

He will join Joe Montana and Jeremy Lin as sports stars with a statue at the San Francisco location.
