SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- A coalition of 40 Marin County groups will unite with government officials and other leaders Monday in San Rafael to demand action to prevent additional climate change, organizers said on Saturday.

The "Time to Lead on Climate" forum will be held at 7 p.m. in Angelico Hall at Dominican University, 20 Olive Ave., according to organizers.

People can learn about approaches to stopping climate change and how individuals and communities can create and advocate for climate change prevention policies in the U.S. and around the world, organizers said.

Admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door, according to organizers. The cost for students is $5. Organizers said no one will be turned away.
