Police investigating suspicious death near San Jose creek

SAN JOSE, Calif (KGO) -- The San Jose Police Department is currently investigating a suspicious death in the 1800 block of Pine Hallow Circle.

Just after 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a body found near a creek in the area.

Fire personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the person deceased a short time later.

Officers arrived on scene and are currently conducting follow up investigation. The circumstances and motive surrounding the death are unknown at this time.

San Jose Police Department Homicide detectives are responding to the scene to take over the investigation.
