An Ohio man says his hometown is being a Grinch over his Christmas decorations, which are a bit unusual.

The nativity scene features zombies playing the roles of Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus.

The homeowner, Jasen Dixon, put up the zombie nativity scene last year as a way to draw publicity to a nearby haunted house he runs. It worked, but some neighbors say they're offended.

The local township ordered the homeowner to take down the zombie nativity, or face a fine of $500 a day. Officials say the fine isn't over the nature of the display, but the structures Dixon used. His neighborhood isn't zoned for it.

Dixon says he will not take down the display.
