FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- Fremont animal aervices is searching for the mother of a baby goat found wandering near the intersection of Lemos Lane and Tirso Street.

According to Fremont animal services, the baby goat appears to be an infant and is well cared for. The agency believes the baby goat was recently separated from its mother and they are hoping to reunite it with its owner. The goat is not in any kind of danger.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the goat's mother is asked to contact the Tri-City Animal Shelter at (510) 790-6640.
