The director of Transportation for the SFMTA, Ed Reiskin, released a statement saying, "I want to thank the businesses, residents, employees and everyone traveling in the area for their patience and for helping us make Super Bowl 50 a great success for our City. I appreciate all those who chose public transportation to get around during Super Bowl 50, including the 200,000 additional riders who boarded Muni during these extraordinary events.
