Giants attribute success to home-grown products

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KGO) -- One a reason the San Francisco Giants have won three World Series titles in the last six years is chemistry. The Giants really believe in it and it is how they build their roster every year.

There are 27 of the Giants' 40-man roster who are home-grown products, drafted and developed by the organization. And the players all contribute their success to this fact.

Manager Bruce Bochy knows this system is the key to their success. He said, "It does do a lot, I think, for the chemistry of a ball club. These guys came up together, they came up as Giants so they know our way and we have known them before they come up through the Major League camps."
