Caltrain service resumes in South Bay after train fatally hits pedestrian

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- Caltrain has resumed service in the South Bay after southbound Caltrain 442 fatally hit a pedestrian near the Santa Clara Station in Santa Clara.



Trains just have been cleared to operate as the investigation continues.



There are no details of the victim or about what caused the accident.
