Over 150 evacuated from RV resort after creek water rises in South Bay

MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- More than 150 people were evacuated from an RV resort outside of Morgan Hill Sunday morning because of fears of flooding from a nearby creek.

Around 10:15 a.m., fire officials with Cal Fire received a report of possible flooding at the Thousand Trails campground, located at 12895 Uvas Road in unincorporated Santa Clara County, according to a fire dispatcher.

As of 1 p.m., there was no estimated time for when they would be able to return, according to the dispatcher.
