4 CHP officers to be honored, including one slashed by suspect in SF

SAN FRANCISCO -- Four California Highway Patrol officers are being honored today in Santa Clara for heroism in the line of duty, CHP officials said.

Officers Joshua Nelson, Nicholas Hoey, Jeremy Maya and Andre Sirenko will be honored at noon at the Santa Clara Marriott at 2700 Mission College Blvd.

The four are being honored by ASIS International, an organization for security professionals, according to CHP officials.
