Stolen van crashes into Rocket Dog Rescue shelter in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A charity in Oakland needs your help with the rescued dogs it serves.

The founder of Rocket Dog Rescue, Pali Boucher, posted photos on Facebook, showing the damage done to the group's sanctuary by a stolen van.

The van narrowly missed where the shelter's live-in caretaker was sleeping.

It also destroyed the shelter's fence so the dogs now do not have an outdoor place to play.
