Firefighters respond to East Oakland blaze, two injured

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Firefighters are responding to a single-alarm fire happening in East Oakland this afternoon.



The blaze was first reported at 3:21 p.m. near 76th Avenue and Hillside Street, according to a fire dispatcher.



Explosions were reportedly heard at the scene, fire officials said.



At least two people suffered burns, according to fire officials.
