PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- A Facebook employee is accused of raping his friend and refusing to let her leave his home in Palo Alto.

Officers arrested Yue Zhou Tuesday.

The victim says she drove Zhou home after going out to dinner with friends on June 24. She went inside his house for a glass of water.

The victim says that's when he raped her and he used a knife to hold her against her will. She was able to escape, several hours later.

"She essentially distracted him momentarily, and she was able to get out the front door to her car," said Palo Alto Sgt. James Reifschneider.

Police don't believe there are any more victims in the case.
