Expect huge delays on Oakland airport BART connector due to repairs

OAKLAND, Calif. -- One of the tracks for the Oakland Airport BART Connector will be closed this week for maintenance projects, BART officials announced.

The repairs should be completed in two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, but may take extend into Thursday.

According to BART officials, one track will remain open however the time in between each car will take 18 minutes instead of the usual 5-6 minutes.
