SJ firefighters respond to fire burning shed behind East San Jose home

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Firefighters are at the scene of a fire burning a shed behind an East San Jose home that began Saturday afternoon.

The blaze was first reported around 11:35 a.m. in the 100 block of Melrose Avenue, according to a fire dispatcher.

Firefighters were able to knock down the fire after being on scene for about 30 minutes, the dispatcher said.

No injuries have been reported, according to the dispatcher.
